Manner of Submission
Tenders must be enclosed in sealed envelopes and endorsed on the outside with the above mentioned tender number, tender description and tender closing date. Tenders must be received at ZPC on or before the closing date or delivered by hand to THE TENDER BOX, to the attention of The Power Plant Manager, Zimbabwe Power Company, Munyati Power Station, P.O Munyati, Munyati or emailed to dmanjengwa@zpc.co.zw or emutema@zpc.co.zw. Tenders must be received on or before the closing date.
Offers not received by 10:00 hours on the closing date will be treated as late tenders, rejected and returned to tenderer.

YOUR OFFER SHOULD CLEARLY INDICATE THE FOLLOWING:

Bidders respond to the specification on a line by line basis without failure.

State Validity of your offer from closing date (minimum accepted bid validity is 30 days).

Bidders are required to complete the price schedule.

Bidders must provide CR 14 - List of Directors.

Bidders must state acceptance of the following payment terms
-
No advance payments will be made for orders below US$500,000. Payment for delivered goods will be made 30 days after delivery of goods. (Bidders must state acceptance of these payment terms without failure).

Bidders must provide lead time/delivery period of three (3) weeks or better from receipt of official order.

Bidders must attach proof of Procurement Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe registration in the form of Government Gazette - Tools and Hardware — (Goods Category G/T/002) PRAZ Receipts are not acceptable. If bidders do not attach proof –ZPC will use available Government Gazettes to verify registration.

4. TESTING AND ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA
The hoses are subject to inspection, and performance tests as part of the acceptance criteria.
The hoses shall be subjected to operational and functional tests and the Engineer reserves the right to accept or reject the products based on all test results. In the event that the supplied hoses fail to meet the required technical specification or fail the tests, the Engineer shall reject the equipment and the purchase order shall be cancelled.
5. WARRANTY PERIOD
The supplier shall cover the hoses and their accessories by a warranty against material and manufacturing defects. The warranty shall be for a period of one (1) year.
